Loose fold out tow mirrors

Both my of my fold-out tow mirrors are loose, to a point bwhwre I can't see with them. By loose, I mean the glass itself not the housing. When I filp them up there is a small rubber plug but it seems to lead nowhere. How can I tighten the glass back down?

The glass is probably about to fall off. It's onle held on with two sided tape. If it's that loose, you can pull the glass off and clean up the old tape. I went back with 3M tape (extra strength) and silicon.

Thank you so much. How do I actually access the glass and remove it?

any glass shop worth 2 cents should be able to make you new ones, not sure on the convex, but flat, yeah. i always replace my ps mirror when i buy a vehicle, hate the convex ones. Then i put on a frog eye in the corner.
