Kink in Heater Core Hose - A Problem?

I just noticed under the hood of my CTD, the heater core hose from the engine has a pretty good kink in it, right where it bends to go into the motor. I'm a little concerned because A) it may be restricting flow to the heater core and B) if the engine shifts enough relative to the body it may pull off....

Should I be concerned? If so how can I fix this. BTW the PO did have the heater core replace about 20,xxx miles ago, I'd assume thats what caused this...

Sounds like someone went on the cheap and used straight hose instead of the Dodge dealer only part with the bend in it that is ridiculously high priced.
If the heater works good enough for you keep the kinked hose, otherwise buy the correct part.

Heat works fine. Besides I live in Texas now so I shouldn't need it a whole lot!

I might be tempted to yank one outa a junkyard if I go for some other stuff though.

Thanks!

The real part from Dodge isn't over $10. I replaced both mine last year. Replace all your hoses & antifreeze every 5 years or so. You will be doing yourself a big favor.
