Keyless entry "Panic button"

I am sure this has happened to many of us that have the dreaded "panic" button on our keyless entry. Your keys are in your pocket, you bend over or something and then your truck goes mental!!

Is it possible to disable the "panic" feature of the keyless entry?

Re:Keyless entry "Panic button"

I pryed my key fob open (like you were going to change the battery) and placed a small piece of paper between the contacts.....Presto....no more accidental .

Re:Keyless entry "Panic button"

I was always setting mine off too. So I now hook it to my belt loop. I always thought they should make a flip open cover for the fob.
