Installed first lukes link. Doesn't look right.

I have it all together and bolted up to the truck. The top of the lukes link is NOT flush or even close to the frame bracket where it bolts up.

Is this supposed to be like this? I have it torqued down pretty good.

The space seems like it is too much.

How close is it? The link will not be flush with the bracket, there will be a gap. Mine has about 1/8" gap. HTH

Yes, should have at least an 1/8" - afterall, it is a style of balljoint and needs clearance to pivot.
