Hey all...

I decided since I was installing keyless entry on my non-keyless entry '96 and there didn't seem to be much info on how to do it, I thought I would try making a quick guide. When I made this, it was a big help that my dads truck came from the dealership with an aftermarket unit on so I knew what I was missing once I attempted to install the keyless unit the first time. Made me feel like I bought a new truck for a few minutes without the end-of-honeymoon-because-of-new-truck-payment hangover.

So since I get a TON of good info from this place, I thought I would try my hand at contributing myself.

Anybody know what is required to add factory keyless remote to a non factory equipped truck?

I never use the remote, but I like the deal where it will not allow you to lock your keys in the truck......
