Need to remove driver's side door window. It has power windows, is crashed, but I can hotwire it. It looks like it needs to come out the top slot.

I have the door panel off.

Any advice on how to position the window in the track with the motor as I take it out.

First timer here.

You have to unbolt the window from the regulator. It has to be about half way down IIRC. Two nuts holding the lower track to the window itself. The at the top of the door, I think there is a seal for the window - you know the felt stff that pushes right up against the glass. Take that off as well. The the glass should angle down towards the front of the door and up towards the back and lift out. It is kind of awkward, but once you do it, its like wow, that didn't take much!
