Just picked up my first diesel about a month ago it is a 95 Ram 3500 4x4 with a auto, dump body, and a extended cab. It has close to 300k miles on it. I ordered a new 96 Ext. cab Ram 2500 V-10 4x4 and still have it with 25k miles on it but I had to have a diesel this time. I would like to say thanks to everyone here because I have got tons of info from here about it. When I first heard the word KDP I was wondering what the heck that was... but now I know and plan on checking it soon. My 3500 got a recon engine from cummings at about 180k miles but the maint records dont show why.. it has also went thru at least 5 transmissions and just about everything else at least once. My TPS has a dead spot at the moment as it tries to shift here and there when the throttle get in the right spot but im changing that today. Thanks for having me around lurking...

Replaced the TPS and now the transmission shifts like new.. Do you guys think a recon'd engine from Cummings would come already tabed? thoughts?
