heated seat help
I have a 2000 ram 3500 with heated leather seats. Getting blinking yellow light on drivers side only. Passenger side works fine. In manual it says heated seat needs servicing if light it flashing. anyone know what you would need to service on a heated seat. Checked all electrical connections everything has power to switch. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
Search this as "Heated seats".
According to my FSM the blinking light is a code for "Heated Seat Element Shorted" or "Heated Seat Element Open" if high lamp is blinking.
If low lamp is blinking it is either "Heated seat Element Shorted" or "Heated Seat Sensor Value Out of Range".
Hope this helps.

A usual breaking point for the wiring is at the rear door side area of the seat, I guess it takes some wear from getting in and out of our trucks, may be a good starting point.
