Great looks like someone sideswiped my Ram

The GF Jimmy was in the shop again to get fixed so I lent her my truck to get baby food and stuff Saturday. She went to walmart, superstore and a small shopping plaza she's very carefull with my truck and parked away from everyone. So Sunday I come out and go to load the kid and I'm like what the edited by admin the passenger side rear door and box have a big crease and scrape of white paint about 2inches above the body molding strip, must of been a lifted or big truck. PO had dented below that but I fixed it some what, wonder if its worth even seeing about a claim as the paint been through the brush. Just hate seeing the big crease, no sorry note or nothing

You sure it wasn't the GF that hit something? Sometimes people that don't know the size of our trucks don't know how to drive them...they think it's a car.

I feel your pain though, mine was rearended outside of the GF's house early Monday morning...hit and run. The whole rear corner is messed up. Even ripped off the factory hitch plug box thing mounted on the receiver.

My brothers 03 CC was a victim of his wife with 23k on it he was away she tried to hitch up plow put tractor tire into both doors and moved pillar slightly. My fiancee backed her caravan into my 98 tipped the bumper and threw headlight outta whack, the van had major tailgate damage broke lift strut and was bowed beyond a skin replacement.I said" how fast were ya goin" her reply "not that fast you dont usually park there its not my fault".My wife now deceased hit my house with my 6.2 Jimmy that was a costly deal.as well she hit alot of other things with various autos.lesson here dont let your woman drive anything you really care about. In my case its my 56 chevy.Trucks are meant for work and haulin dents are just personality.Kinda like a scar on a tough face! Still stinks when we didn't put them there!

You let her go to walmart with your truck? Sounds like you knew itd get beat up!

If it makes you feel any better, I parked in a Frys food parking lot around here and a large white vehicle sideswiped my truck.. Got the lower front of the bed and rubbed on the tire.

Unfortunately not much is worth filing a claim with insurance, when you consider the cost of the deductible, and the potential premium increases and how long those increases last.. doh!

Wal-Mart has 24 hour video surveillance on their parking lots, you might check with one of the assistant managers at the store to see if they'll see who hit your truck, especially if you know the rough time and where you were parked, it shouldn't be too hard. I don't know if they'll want to get involved, but its worth a try, right?
