fuel pump fuse

This weekend I got my tractor stuck so I tried pulling it out with my truck. my wife was in the truck in 4x4 mode and all the sudden I look over to an overheated dead truck. I have an aftermarket fass fuel pump , the online fuse in the harness blew. 30a. When I replace the fuse , it blows when I turn the key. Any ideas?

Hooked fuel pump supply and ground upto an independent battery , same result. Pump motor siezed ? I have had the pump for a long time but just plumbed it about a year ago. I remember it was about 800$.....

Probably, can't remember which unit has seals that fail and fill the motor with fuel.

Fass might be able to fix it though.
