Front end squeak when going over bumps
Front end squeak when going over bumps
I was wondering if anyone has experienced a squeak when going over bumps at low speeds? The truck only has 17K and I grease everything, all 3 fitting's ???, every 3K. I did a search on this forum and only came up with a possible steering column cuprit. I will check that but I think it is comming from the front end.

Thanks,
Joe
Re:Front end squeak when going over bumps
Mine has done that since new..Has over 100k on it now, its a bushing in one of the track bars..Some do it, some don't. I spray wd-40 on them every once in awile if it gets bad. That has kept them quiet. Mine will really squeak if I go over a series of rollers in the sand dunes, but has never caused a problem.
Re:Front end squeak when going over bumps
Mine does the same thing and greasing the fittings has not made a difference and I have right at 16K now. I know of others that have similar squeaks but never resulted in any problems

If anyone finds that it causes a problem, please post it. Thanks.
