Question Front End Alignment issues?

My truck is approaching 36000 miles and noticed that my right front tire is wearing on the outside as if there is positive camber. I have rotated the tires several times and the right front is wearing causing me to have to think about new tires sooner than I should have. I have a 2500 Quad Cab 4X4. The shop manual says camber is not adjustable, so is this a manufacturers defective? Or is this caused by something else? I am asking this question since my 3yr/36000 warranty is up soon and wonder if it is covered by the warranty?

Thanks, Dennis

It must be a wanted setting by the factory that causes this wear.
I was fed up with mine and loosened the ball joint to find the right side has an offset built in it. Use a cotter pin to rotate it once it is loose.
Left side is not the same.
I am curious if all the 4X4 's are this way?

My truck wore out a set of Michelins in 50,000 miles. They can go up to 100,000 miles. I just put a new set of Coopers on.With 1,000 miles there is no measurable wear difference on the RF tire. Just too early.

Aftermarket adjustment cams are available for the Dana 60 front axle. If you read the alignment spec's on dodgeram.org, it explains that cams are necessary to set the initial caster and camber, and the cams on the control arms are used to swing it into final alignment. The stock ball joint cams do not have much room to move, as there is a flat spot on the top shoulder that limits the range of adjustment.

I'll be going to the aftermarket cams soon. I have .1 of +camber on one side, and I can't get the truck to stop pulling to the right.

I don't think so, this applies mainly to the soilid axle front end and the "Death Wobble" or caster shimmy.
