I had to take my fan and mount out together since I could not break the fan nut. I took it to local mechanic and let them separate them. Just picked it up and the pulley does not feel like it moves as freely as it should. Can I rebuild this one? A new one cost about $250 on the cheaper side.

Are you talking about the fan clutch?
