exhaust diameter
wanting to know the ID of the stock exhaust didnt know if it was 3 3 1/4 or 3 1/2

Don't have a stock exhaust to measure for you, but I was sure it was 3 1/2...
Hopefully someone knowledgeable will actually chime in with the correct answer.

Well, mine had 4" when I bought it, so I was just goin off memory from straight-pipin a friend's 99...I definitely could be wrong, that was several years ago...

Just measured the pipe on the factory resonator (it's in my garage), and the pipe diameter is 3 inches.

thats what i was thinking but didnt have a tape. second question does anyone make a 5 to 3 inch reducer or am I on my own on making one

I have purchased several from Napa.
They have everything you need to eliminate a cat, muffler, resonator, etc.
