Door key hole very hard too turn
The battery in my remote for the alarm is dying so I have been locking the doors and using the key to get in. However my door locks are real tight. It takes some effort to turn the key. It is the same on both sides. Any ideas? Would some WD40 help out here?

I don't usually recommend WD40 as it leaves a residue. I would prefer either tri-flow which is my preferred product for this, or lock-ease otherwise. If you can't find anything better to use, WD40 will most likely help, just use it very sparingly.

I prefer graphite lubes for the locks, no oily residue to attract and hold dust. It may go further than just the key part on your rig, sometimes you have to pop off the door panel and lube some of the inner linkages.

I am wondering if this is somewhat common. I can see one being sticky, not both. .

You must live in the salt belt. The best penetrating oil I have ever used is called Kroil, made by Canno products in Ky or Tenn. If that doesn't work buy a new lock.
