Cutting rotors and replacing lug studs?

i think all my info is on my signature... question: if remove the rotors to cut them, do I have to remove and install new lug studs? Or can they be cut without removing the lug studs? thanks....

They can be turned without removing the studs but why do you want to turn them?
If they are warped the warp will come right back, if they are gouged they will likely be under spec after turned. At about $50 each for brand new high quality Brembo rotors from www.tirerack.com I find turning rotors not really worth it.

yes they can be turned, If the shop has a big enough machine. Around the VA Beach area two Pep Boys are the only shops that have the goldilocks machine (not too big, not too small, just right)
I check the pads yearly and if they're less then half I replace pads and have the rotors dressed. Just breaking the glaze on them lets the pads mate correctly.
