Cool control arm bushing replacement

I was told by "somebody" that my 96' 12v 2500 4x4 control arm bushings can't be replaced. He said that when the bushing wear out that the whole arm needs replacing. Doesn't make any sense to me though. What's the deal with the control arms?

I had a 96' 2500 4x4 CC LB 5spd CTD. The bushings can be replaced. I was able to do one of the arms. The other three just wouldn't give. Paid Napa to press in the other three. I bought factory replacement rubber from Napa. The upgraded Polyurethane wouldv'e been cheaper. Since this is a 2nd Gen it's very unlikely you'll hear any squeaking from the Poly. The new bushings made a slight difference when empty. The big difference was when towing.

Did you have Death Wobble at all prior to replacing your control arm bushings?
