codes?
I like this one.

The P1693 you're seeing is a "companion" code.
It means there is a code present somewhere.
Problem is, the key on/off/on/off/on method doesn't show all the codes.
You'll need to get them scanned somewhere to find out.
Most big auto parts chains will do it, or there is always the dealer.
Sometimes the other code clears itself after so many ignition cycles, but the 1693 is left behind.

The LIST is incomplete. I have a 0460, 1763, and 1693 for the PCU, 1693 and 0234 for the ECU, doing the old key switch trick. The 1693 is the companion code, I get that for the most part, but what do the others mean??

I definitely have a 1763 code. Checked again for the third time after reading your reply.
This is from my 01 service CD. 1763 Governor Pressure Sensor Volts Too Hi (Brief description) The Governor Pressure Sensor input is above an acceptable voltage level. 1763 (M) (M = check engine light on) Governor Pressure Sensor Volts Too Hi (description) Voltage greater than 4.89 volts (4-speed auto. trans. only). Hope this info. is useful.

Thank you, MLR1. No check engine lights on, just checked for stored codes. Truck is running perfectly otherwise.
When I disconnect the batteries to clear out the codes, will I have to reset anything, like the APPS or anything?? I don't want to disconnect, wait, reconnect, and have troubles on my night-shift commute later today
but if I need to reset something, I will do it.

How about a 1687. It's not on either of the lists that ya'll gave me. I'm having an issue with my oil pressure guage bouncing around. I know it's an electrical issue where do I look for this.
