i have three codes p0122,p1693,p0720 on my 1998.5 dodge ram 24 v diesel what do these codes meen any ideas on how to fix my proublem

 

I wish I could help you on the codes, I just checked the ones I have and I don't have a match to one of them. I have about 100 I think, well maybe not quite but none of the ones you mention.

P1693- not sure on that one, are you sure that is the code

P0720 Output speed sensor malfuction

P0122 Throttle position sensor (tps) / accelerator pedal position sensor (apps) signal voltage to low

That is what my repair manual has for you, but that first one is not in there are you sure it is correct?

 

1693- DTC detected in ECM or PCM.
720- Low output speed sensor
122- APPS signal volts low

p0720 is; output shaft speed sensor circuit
p0122 is; throttle position sensor A circuit low
input
p1693 is; a companion DTC was set in both the ECM and PCM
none of the codes are serious, but will require attention soon
