Charging problem
Hello everyone.... My 95 2500 quit charging. I replaced batteries and ends and altanator. It's only giving me 12.6
I was told the regulator is in the PCM. They are hard to find and pricey... Can a external be used?? I read a post from skinny Santa in which I also have no a/c , cruise, or tack. Will the ess effect this too??? Thank you |
yes, my tach on my '97 went out... if there is no signal to tach, charging will not occur. if you can find that post again, there's a pic of where the ess is
