Thumbs up Brakes

Changed out all the brake pads yesterday on my truck. Originals didn't look all that bad except on the rear passenger side. Didn't have any pad left on the inside! Put ceramics on the rears (they didn't have any for the front ) so I just put some regular pads on there. I got roughly 48500 on the truck. Took about 4 beers to change out. All-in-all, it wasn't bad at all!

Sounds like you need new caliper for the wheel that the pads didn't wear even, passenger rear? is sticking.

Agreed Rick..


Make sure the guide pins move freely on that caliper or you will be doing it again.

I'll give it a check next time I have the wheels off... I can't complain too much, I didn't have to change 'em until just over 49K so it can't be all that bad! Thanks for the info guys!
