brakes

just finishing up on a brake problem and have a few questions,
my rear height sensing valve brake rotted out causing my rear brakes to fail, i replaced the valve with the by-pass line and now have a closed system and am in the process of bleeding the system out- i have both the abs and brake light on the dash lit and was wondering if a thorough bleeding will reset the lights or do i need a reset of the lights?
I am going to use a motive products brake bleeder- this should provide a thorough bleeding
thanks for any help provided

I had a different problem but with ABS and brake light but with those lights on you need a mechanic's programmer to read and clear out the error codes. The check engine code reader will not do it.
