Brake Light Switch Problem

I'm haveing problems with my brake light switch not working. It wouldn't work until I rotated it a little in it's mount. That went on for a few weeks so I ordered a new switch. It worked for about a week, and now it's doing the same thing. The brake lights will not come on, but if I reach in the dash and turn the switch probably a 1/8th inch, the lights will work for a while then quit again. Then I repeat the process. It's never the same length of time either. I've disconnected my trailer brake controller thinking it might have something to do with it, but it didn't change. I've traced the problem to the actual switch with a test light, so it's definately something to do with the switch. It's driving me crazy!
