Brake light problem (thread search)

My right rear tail light has been giving me some problems and I remember reading a thread a while back that there was a common with the wiring harness (maybe ) on the 2nd gens? I tried searching but i couldnt find it. Anyway like I said it's my right rear and the park lights work, but the brake light and flasher/turn signal do not work. When i put on my right signal the little arrow on the dash stays lit but doesnt blink. The bulbs and fuses seem to be good. Any ideas?? Thanks.

Best way is to look at the wiring diagram and check for pulsating power in that wire. I have the manual and I will look up the color if you don't have it. Check it at the bulb socket and work your way back to the multi-function switch. Bet it's rotted off under there somewhere.
