Body side molding

My 96 has the body side molding with the silver streak going down the center. Well its starting to peel and looks ile S***. Has anyone replaced these? I'm interested in finding the type without the silver in it like the later gen 2's have. I'm not sure these will work since I dont have door on my extra-cab.

LMC truck has this moulding (without the silver strip)....I did the same and installed the after market moulding with the silver strip...It only lasted about 6 months before it started to peel...Now I don't have any moulding at all..

you can get rubber eraser wheels from 3m.. put that on a die grinder and you can use it to remove the adhesive residue from the strips.
