Best Replacement Dashboard

I was curious from the many people that have had to replace their dashboards due to cracking what they would recommend. I have seen many LMC truck parts, was just curious if people were satisifed with them, or have had better luck somewhere else. Thanks!

Plastic Parts, Inc. in Florida makes one. I have not used it yet, but it's on my list. I do not know for certain, but that may be the one Genos sells. I'm sure there are not many companies making an actual replacement dashps/top.

You're looking for the full replacement....correct? Not the dash cap. I have the cap and it's now time to replace the full dash.

I just need to replace the piece from the bezel around the gauges to the windshield, that's the only one that has two cracks. I like the Dash from LMC and the other piece that you can get with it that spreads the tension to a greater surface area. I just hope it is as thicker and better quality than original. Considering my truck never stays outside, I am very dissappointed to say the least with the dashboard.

I have replaced 4 with the ones Genos garage sells so far all 4 still look good and were easy to install and supposed to be lifetime warr.

I have the LMC cover and it has worked fine; actual dash looked like a huge PITA to replace. My instrument bezel has a crack in it, but I added some glue to keep it tight and has worked out fine.

Put a Dodge replacement in mine a couple years ago - since I was doing A/C and heater core at the same time dash had to come loose either way. Only a day's work w/two guys - wasn't too bad. I do keep the replacement covered though - hoping to get more years than the original (which lasted 8 years).

LMC is OK by me.
Good price, fast shipping and a direct fit. The color was a minor shade off but that could have been my ordering a dark grey and needing a light grey.
The only suprise in my install was that the plastic pieces(go figure) that pop into the firewall and you screw the dash into were broken also. I ended up fabbing some replacements out of a hunk of HDPE I had been using as a cutting board.

Don't use armor all= No cracked dash. All mine are perfect. They stay that way in the Georgia sun too. I leave em dusty and they're perfect. Both 97's and now an '02 and '03. Past armor all use by a p.o. or dealer spells death down the road for your dash[nonono]
