ABS wire size?

I took my truck in to the dealer find out why the ABS lights were up. He said there is a break in the wire between the RWSS and the plug behind the left front wheel. Suggested that I can track down the break and solder it or even just cut the wire at both ends and run a new pair, making sure to twist it first. I'm wondering if anyone knows the what size the wire is? The shop tech didn't know offhand but said it's not anything special, just that it must be twisted, and that soldering won't matter.

Any answers?

Thanks, I figured it must be 16 or 18 gauge. I'll look for some quality connectors, the cheap crip-on ones aren't going to cut it. I think they'll bump the resistance too high and still bring a fail light up.

Oops, sorry about that reply of mine. I just re-read it and realized that it sounded like I was critisizing your answer. I was refering to those simple blue barrel type connectors, which aren't weatherproof. It kinda came out wrong. The plan is to find some quality connectors then heatshrink 'em. I'm glad to hear of your success and happy to know the fix will work.
