ABS and E Brake lights on?
ABS and E Brake lights on?
Both the lights are on. Someone said to check continuity of the ABS Speed Sensor on the rear end. They said if it doesn't read exactly 1.8 that it's bad, mine read 1.4. does that mean it's bad and I should replace it? I just started having the problem, it's hot and miss when it's on.
Another thing I noticed is when I step on the ebrake the BRAKE light will get dim, then bright, then dim?
The truck is a 96 Dodge Ram 2500 4x4.

Who is "they", and what is the unit of measurement? Is that ohms, milli-ohms, kilo-ohms? Check your PMs...
The ABS and Brake warning lights together can also be a symptom of low vacuum. Do you notice any actions that are vacuum-related that cause both lights to come on, such as trying to engage cruise-control or moving the A/C mode switch to a particular setting (could be a failed diaphragm in a door actuator)?
