Abs/brake Light Re-visited
Last night I repaired that loose wire in the column that cuts out all ignition. Right before I did that, I tilted the wheel all the way up which pulled the wire out of the harness and It blew the 50a fuse under the hood. Replaced the fuse, repaired the wire and all is good. truck fired right up, but now the abs/brake lights are on. Any way they are connected?? I understand you can cycle the ignition about 50 times to reset, maybe even unhook the battery to reset. Any other little tricks to make the lights go off?? Really don't think it is a sensor. It is just too much of a coincidence thtat they came on right after blowing the fuse.

Just out of curiosity, did you check your brake light fuse? Mine popped the fuse once due to a trailer wire shorting out and it lit the brake/abs lights too. I replaced the fuse and the lights went out.

ABS, and brake light on
i had a similar problem and i traced it to a poor installation of a starter/alarm comb where they used a scotch connector for some of their connections, i also had problems with my remote starter not working all the time. i also noticed the 2 lights would come on sometimes then go off on their own ,after removing the quick connectors and soldering the wires together instead all has been working good for so far. my guess would be a bad connection or a pinched wire some where
