I have the build sheet. Why do I look to see if it is equipped with this feature. I did not get a remote when I bought it but I hope they lost it.

Just being hopeful as that is the only thing I miss from my previous truck.

I feel yer pain my 98 is loaded without keyless entry.

 

You can get a new fob activated at a dealership. Will cost you $100 though.

 

If yours did come w/keyless, you can find places on the web that sell the remote fob and instructions on how to program it. Had to do this for my 99 Olds.

Can I look and see if my truck is set up with a receiver or do I have to go to the dealership to find out. On the build sheet, it lists a convenience(sp) package but I am thinking that is just power windows and locks.

I'd probably pay the money cause it sure would make loading the kids easier. Not that it's ever gonna be easy with an extended cab.
