3rd gen conversion bracket lazersmith - opinions?

I have a SSI 3rd gen conversion bracket I have yet to install because it interferes with the push plates for my snow plow- have to do some modifications and then have them both welded together for installation. Just found the Lasersmith conversion bracket which does not need any modifications to clear the plow mounts but my question is, the SSI, like most others, mounts along the frame underside and outside to the steering gear mounting bolts (which the plow frame does as well, hence the modification needed), while the Lazersmith only mount to 2 holes in the frame- it appears a much weaker mounting.

Anyone have experiences with Lazersmiths bracket? I'd love some opinions. The modification process will be time consuming, while the welder will not charge me much to do the actual welding, to actually ensure it is done right.
