I paid chrysler to do it. They screwed it up, when going 60mph the speedo read 90mph. I don't know how they could make it so wrong but I toook it back and made them do it again now I think its right on.

Since you are in Canada, I bet it had to do with mph vs kph... 60 mi ~97 km...

I have 285's on mine and set the pedal around 75mph when I take it to work. If it's that far off it won't matter, cause these nut jobs on the highway in Nashville are still passin' me!!

Yes, at all speeds. You need to know your tire count(rev's. per mile) and change your pinion factor to match.

Needs to be recalibrated with a scanner or a tunner(ie superchips) that plugs into your datalink. You need to know the tire count if you use a scanner. The tire count is the revolutions per mile. You can find it at the tire manufactures web site, or use Toyo's web site.

ON a 97 call up Dodge and tell them the tire size. They will get you a new gear. Pre 98.5s use the speedo off of the transfer case with a speedo gear. Mine was under $15.00 from Dodge. It takes about 30 min. to change.
