2001 soft brake pedal after replacing caliper

Hi, I replaced both front brake calipers on my truck. Did left front first, drove the truck then ended up replacing the right front as well. After doing so, I don’t have brakes. The pedal is firm with the truck off but gets soft when I start it. Do I just have air in the lines there something else? All bleeder screws are on the top as they should be.

Had a brake caliper sticking and soft pedal also Replaced caliper and still sticking, replaced rubber brake line and now all is well.

Bleed the system, after replacement ?

You sure the bolt which attaches the brake hose is tight enough, with new copper washers ?

Air infiltrating the system causes no brakes or a soft brake pedal.

It's best to replace the hoses if they're original, of you feel they're being compromised due to age.
