Well you better be if you have a 5spd and you are planning on changing the tranny fluid. ???<br><br>I went to the Dodge dealer today and with my prefered customer discount it cost me $120 for 4 quarts of the stuff. :'(<br><br>I do believe someone forgot my kiss before I left. :-* <br><br>Sure glad I don't have to change it often.<br><br>DB

 

yep I just had to put a rebuilt nv4500 in my truck ........cost me 20 dollars a litre for the synthetic fluid

must be good stuff .............

Red Line MT90 synthetic manual transmission lubricant has the same GL-4 spec as Castrol Syntorq LT and is usually around $8 a quart.

 

The Castrol syntorq is the same rip off as the oil pressure sending unit that you have to buy from Chrysler for $197 that comes in a Cummins box with a Cummins part number that sells for about $23 from Cummins. I don't mind paying for something because we all got to make a living but when I'm being gouged, that's when I get upset.

yeah that was canadian .....so that's about 14 dollars US per litre

 

So the tranny fluid the dodge sells us is really just castrol syntorq in a lame chrysler bottle? What a croc.

 

Sticker on the tranny cover says, Castrol Syntorq. It also has a GM #, but I don't have the number handy right now.
