I have a 3/4 ton 5 spd 4x4 out of a gas jobber would it work in a diesel??

 

The gas engine tranny does not have torque capacity of diesel version. Different size splines, input shaft and probablly more inside trans. Might bolt up if can overcome clutch and driveshaft spline issures. I guess the housing, clutch, flywheel, crossmember, drive shaft length, alignment, clutch mounting, slave/ master cyl, and year issues are already covered.
