What is normal trans temp?
Re:What is normal trans temp?
Steve the part number you're looking for is 5011244AA.
That is a stock Dodge tranny line for an earlier model.
It's a direct replacement for the "Hot" line and has the fittling for the sending unit allready installed.
This replaces the line from the driver's side of the trans to the heat exchanger (little can-looking thing) on the passenger's side of the engine.

Re:What is normal trans temp?
For those who are on a budget, a digital trans temp gauge and sending unit (by Cyberdyne) can be picked up from JC Whitnet for $50.00
A brass compression "T" can be installed in the "to the cooler line" (coming from TC) for a few bucks at any decent hardware store. It is the 1/2"x1/2"x1/2" compression "T".
The odd leg of the "T" is slightly mosified by using a 1/4" NPT tap, then using a 1/4" npt to 1/8" npt adapter/bushing (most temp sending units are 1/8" NPT.
The whole gauge setup will run you less than 60-65 bucks and that includes buying the 1/4' npt tap. Hope this helps, Kevin

Thanks BigBlue.
That gauge is in the center console.
The EGT/Boost is on the A-pillar. More Gauges in the works, with new placement.
