Value of Drivetrain
Value of Drivetrain
Sorry if this is in the wrong forum.
My 2000 was totaled in a rollover accident. It was a SLT Plus, the only options it didn't have are snow plow, camper package, and clearance lights.
My question is if it would be worthwhile to buy it back and sell off parts. The drivetrain has 99k miles, auto, 4x4, 4:10 gears.
Any ideas of the value?
Thanks.
P.S. The '06 Megacab is the replacement.

From: North Carolina or Kentucky. Take your pick
those are somewhat low if you advertise a little or put on the classifieds here or ebay. course it takes a little work and patience. don't expect to sell all the parts. Hang onto and rerun add in couple months....
I was gonna say you may get stuck re-listing and storing stuff that doesn't move right away.
Around here I see a lot of stuff hibernating in the clasifieds for months, it just doesn't seem to attract any buyers or the seller is stubborn on the price......
May be a lot of work for low profit.
