TV Cable adjustment...

Hi, how much can you pull the TV cable back? I pulled it back (towards the cab) about a 1/4" and that seems to be all I can get. On the tranny end of it, I checked it and there's no slack. The reason for adjusting it is because my 1-2 and 2-3 shifts occur at about 2000 rpms under WOT. Too soon! Valvebody has the stiffer springs in it, so it should shift at or near redline under WOT. Any suggestions?

Sounds like a fubar. Does the throttle actually move the lever on tranny? What else has been done that precipated this issue?/

haha... That's good to hear. The lever does move on the tranny like it should. Nothing else has been done. Just been that way. I did some searching and seems like others have had the same issue. Maybe it's time to grenade this tranny already...

What do you press, twist, or bite to adjust the length of the cable?! Or do you just zip tie the line with more or less slack?! Both ends (trans side and throttle/injection pump side) seem permanently fixed.
