Turbo Flutter

It's kind of hard to describe. Between 60-75 mph (not sure cause I'm not really paying attention to speed when I hear it) I hear the turbo kind of "fluttering". It sounds like a bird flapping it's wings. I've got a scotty 2 and 4" straight pipe. The turbo is the stock HY35. I used to have a comp on my truck and would see 30+ psi several times a day. But it's been 6 months since I took it off. I'm not the greatest about letting the truck cool down after a hard run. I usually just shut it off. Oil is changed every 6K miles. Yall think it's just a fluke or what? The shaft is still tight as can be. It doesn't happen all the time. It seems to randomly appear. Thanks for the help yall.

Nope. Your wrong. It only happens while cruising between 60-75 (I know that for a fact) and it doesn't happen all the time. I'm starting to think it was a leaf or something cause I haven't heard it in a couple of days.

01+, maybe 00, automatics have the HY35. The manuals have the HX. I've been looking for an HX. Need a little more top end on mine.

Also. I know the noise your talking about Sean and I can induce that whenever. This is a completely different noise. I'm seriously starting to think it was just a leaf or something. Oh well. If it dies it dies. At least it had far more and harder miles on it than the ferd. I'll just take it to dodge and tell them to fix it. That or I'll find me an HX in a junkyard.
