Truck stalls when shifted into drive NEED HELP!!!
So this all started about a month ago when I was getting off the freeway and coming to a stop my truck seemed to "bog down", my engine oil pressure dropped to about 14 and went back up after putting it in neutral before coming to a complete stop. My truck did this about 4-6 more times after getting off freeway and coming to a stop suddenly. Then the following day I came to as stop at a stop light, not a sudden stop though, and my truck seemed to bog down and the oil pressure dropped as usual and then it completely stalled out. Now when I start it it runs just fine in pal neutral and goes I to reverse but when I put it into a drive I feel the torque converter engage and then stalls out. So I was told it could be bad negative terminals on my battery as they were leaking battery acid, so I replaced batteries cleaned teh terminals and connectors and now when I put it into gear it engages and doesn't stall out for 3-4 seconds where as before right when i would put into a dire gear it would stall immediately. I'm stumped I'm goin to check a couple more grounds and don't see any blown relays or fuses. Any help would be much appreciated. My transmission is built with all ats parts all the way through, double billet torque converter, ats select shift valve body and ats bands and clutches. I haven seemed to come across anyone shoes ever heard of this problem so any help would be much appreciated!

it sounds like the converter lockup is not "unlocking", i believe there is a solenoid in the trans that controls that,, drop the pan and you see a small pair of solenoids that controls the OD and lock and unlock function of the valve body.replace it and you should be good to go!
So today I plugged in my code reader and got the code p1694 no BUS mes received from ECM mod. And that's what I thought at First but after replacing batteries when I put it into drive you can feel it shift into drive like everything was fine but after moving a foot or two it stalls again.
No I didn't try the repair yet suggested above. I did however find the ground wire going from PCM to firewall had been rubbed down to bare wire on one of my ac lines, I also found a orange wire with black stripe coming from middle connector of PCM was spliced ad bare wire showing. I spliced both the groin wire and the orange n black wire and connected back together securely. Truck is still throwing p1694 code and still is stalling after moving 2-3ft in drive gear.
I had just finished dropping my pan and changing filter as I was told by ats diesel that I had a stuck valve in my valve body; then a week later before I was going to send my ats select shift valve body back to them they told me I had a short to ground. So I don't want to drop pan again and spend another 80$ in fluid if I don't have too.
