OK I bought my truck used. a 2001 2500 QC 2wd shortbed. I founnd some odd brackets welded to the frame, finally figured it had a type of 5th wheel/GN in the bed. It has overload springs also, I heard that those came with the camper special. What else does and how do I know what the truck has? All the glove box sticker says is basically a dana 70 3.55 sure grip, paint code trim code and secondary paint code.

 

I believe you could run the VIN and it should tell you everything about your truck from factory

 

What Matt said, go to the dealer service dept and get a print out of your VIN and it will list the features on the truck.

 

camper pkg also included rear sway bar. That's all.

 

Same as above. I did this when I bgt my truck used. Very easy.

Take your VIN # and current mileage to Parts Dept and ask for a copy of the "Build Sheet". Tells you everything! No charge.
