Trouble with codes
Trouble with codes
Ok, so my dad has a 2000 2500. It has been showing that it has water in the fuel sometimes. He drained the canister, no water. Ran the truck, some this weekend, now it won't start. Show the P1693 companion code, but nothing else?
It got a new injection pump in the last year along with a new lift pump.
Any ideas?
This one is also tough since I am 10 hours away.

So, dad sucked it up and paid 75 bucks to have it hauled to the dealer and them look at it. Crankshaft sensor went bad. And the sensor had been replaced in the last 6 months, so it was still covered under warranty. He was tickled to have it running again and it only costing 75 bucks!
