Trouble Brewing

I work in northern alberta for the summer season, and the other day had to do my 13 hour trek north from calgary. Any way I was driving along and about 5 hours into the trip I had loss of power but still some throttle response. Then as quickly as it came it disappeared. I didnt think anything of it until a couple more hours into the trip where it started again but this time it was going back and forth several times. I pulled over at all small town and shut it down to cool, started it up and continued on my way and seemed okay until a couple hours from my destination where the lose of power came and stayed. I had to complete the trip with pedal to the floor and top speed of about 90km. I do have a fuel pressure gauge and was indicating okay and no engine light came on. I have talked to the dealership and are clueless as to my problem, so I was hoping somebody here might know what the problem is. By the way I drive a 2002 2500 cummins diesel. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Did you check for codes (can be done with the key- simply cycle the cey from off to on 3 times without starting the truck, codes will be displayed in the odometer)

I have not done that yet, I always figured that there are no codes if the check engine light does not come on. But ill diffidently check it out as soon as I can.

I also have had the same experience as youve described.
I limped to my dealer where my truck(2002 also) has been for 2 weeks now.
They replaced the lift pump first, then the injection pump next.Still the same symptoms, runs abit then heistates and shuts down.NO Codes at all?
Theyve downloaded the computer and sent it to Dodge Canada Tech division and are awaiting a reply. They only good thing is its all warranty so far.
Good luck
