transmission fluid

I have 2000 2500 series four wheel drive and I am considering a plow. In talking with a dealer he told me they set up quite a few fords and Chevy's but not not lot of Dodge's. I asked him why and he said the trannys were blowing ou of the dodges. His explanation was that the ford and chevys trannys when you put them in nuetral the fluid still flows allowing it to cool, and when the Dodges are in nuetral, some sort of check valve closes and stops the fluid from flowing put to the cooler? thereby overheating the fluid. No idea if that is true, and not planning on plowing proffessionally, but should I be concerned?

Not true, the fluid doesn't circulate in park but does in neutral. (Stock tranny)

On this site there are a lot of folks plowing professionally..

He's kinda right. No fluid flow in Park. Neutral still flows fluid. You can get modified valve bodies to help remedy that and give you a longer lasting transmission as well!
