torque converter help

I am in need of a new torque converter i believe. and i need some suggestions on some good one. I tow almost everyday 10-16k. so i need one with sick clutches and holding power. the trans is fine. the converter just shutters like crazy when going into lock up. and under moderate throttle while locked. I have a perfect shift one in it now. and has only lasted 50,000. i have 100psi of line presure when the converter locks. so i dont think the pump is bad. any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Jon:

I would highly recommend the "ATS Five-Star (Five Disc) Torque Converter" to you. I have been running it in my 1996 Dodge CTD 12 valve for almost three years now with no problems at all and you can look at my signature to see where I am at on power. I run my truck HARD, drag racing, dynoing and doing some towing. They offer a three year, 150,000 mile warranty on their parts and IMHO they are built very well and ATS gives great customer service.
ATS is a Banner Advertiser here, so you can get their number off that or at their website @ www.atsdiesel.com.

Good luck!

Might also want to look into Goerend TC's. He is also a very well known builder and great customer service.
