While doing general maintenance work on my truck this afternoon, I just happened to cycle the bellcrank on the IP and noticed the accelerator cable had 1/2" of slack in it. Hmmm...that seems odd. Have I just missed the cable stretching over time or is this the norm? And, no, it's not the TV cable I'm talking about. Any insight?

 

Problem solved, replaced cable.
