truck needs a new I.P. the shop thats got my pile cant get the injection pump gear off, its frozen on the pump, they have heated it till it glowed, penetrating oiled it, air hammered it, it still wont come off, anyboby know where i can get a new gear, and its part #. I've seen it, they arent running me around, the timimg cover is off and the gear has pound marks all over it. they have to cut it off.

A trick i have used is to heat the gear to be pulled until its good and red then hit the spindle its on with a blast of canned compressed air (computer type) held up side down (wear a glove to protect your hand the can will freze) to chill the spindle while pulling the gear with the gear puller.
