Stumbles sometimes.....Help

My truck in my signature stumbled all the time this saturday. I guess it is what you would call "Dead Pedal". I have a low fuel pressure light that did not come on while driving. It has done this every winter for the past 3 years. I just changed the fuel filter a week ago and had no issues. I did the key on and off 3 times and all I get is P done. On Sunday and today I drove it and had no issues. I am completly confused on this because it doesnt do it all the time and I get no codes. The temp out saturday was 40* and I have power service anitgel in it so I know my fuel isn't gelling up. I have been running Power Service at every fuel up since I have owned the truck and never let it go below 1/4 of a tank.

Any tips or advice would be much appreciated. I am leaning towards injection pump but before I spend all that money how do I know if that is the problem or not?

Thanks,

Does anyone think this could be a bad or dirty IAT sensor and how would I check?

To diagnose a bat IAT you would probably have to have a DRB scanner so dealer or otherwise for that one. You could try cleaning the IAT.

Bare with me, I'm not very good at times explaining things.

My truck was stumbling a year ago, this woulod happen off and on with know warning. My problem I found out a year later was my alarm was hooked in to myu tech wire, which supposely had no current was creating a resistance to the cam shaft sensor. un hooked the alarm wire and it's been over a year no problems.

Just sharing, this may not have anything to do with your problem, but one imagine it would not necessarily have to be the alarm but in connection to the tach wire that created a disturbance.

Well took it to mechanic to get scanned and no codes came up. So I am still stumped on why my truck is doing this.
