What brand starter did you purchase? Was it a reman?

i got it from napa 1yr warranty,im not sure,i do know it wasnt the most expensive one,i will look at my reciept, otherwise how can i tell?

pulled the starter yes it is a reman, hadit tested and its good, the connector on the cable end that goes to the starter, the loop seems to large that goes around the starter post,it may not be makin good contact with the post, could that be the problem?

I would double check all connections first, clean them up and some Dielectric Grease is always a good idea.
If this does not help i would say the starter contacts may have a point of wear. You can replace them yourself, its a lot cheaper than a new/reman starter. http://www.fostertruck.com/dodge/

BTW did they test it multiple times at the parts store, or just once?

it was tested 3 times with me watching monitor, all thing they test for showed good,i have the crimp on ends, could it be possible one of them may not be tight enough i did them my self,i wasnt to familiar how our krimper at work opperated.
