i did it! i installed the larry B contact kit, it took less than an hour and it cured my starting problems
. i recommend the up grade to any body with over 100,000 miles,mainly because you can choose when your down time will be, rather than be out some where in BFE with no tools. or maybe in a bad storm
..... by the way, it's ok to reuse the old spring , the one that came with the kit wouldn't fit so i contacted fostertruck.com
and learned the kit was developed for the 12 valve.which is the same except for the spring
( it works like a new starter)
